In 2004, the Eastern Shore Archives put together a Virtual Exhibit on the village of Oyster Pond and Hosking General Store. For 84 years the Hosking General Store served the coastal community of Oyster Pond, Nova Scotia in the care of three generations of storekeepers: Mrs. Florence Mitchell (1891-1918), “Willie O” Mitchell (1918-49) and finally, Garth & Mildred Hosking (1949-75).

The Virtual Exhibit can be seen on the Virtual Museum of Canada site, by clicking here.
